Introduction
One Hour One Life for Mobile
Live, build, and leave a legacy—one minute at a time.
This mobile adaptation of Jason Rohrer's cult PC game challenges you to survive, thrive, and shape a civilization—one life at a time. Each minute equals one in-game year. You’re born as the child of another player, or if alone, must fend for yourself in the wilderness. Your life lasts just 60 minutes, but what you create can outlive you.
Craft tools, hunt, cook, farm, raise children, or build thriving towns. Start with nothing but a sharp stone and slowly work your way toward fire, clothing, and food security. Pass on your knowledge and resources to the next generation—your children, also played by real people.
Every life is unique. You might be born into a bustling village or struggle alone in the wild. In each generation, you’ll interact with new players—some experienced, some just starting out. Some will teach, others will disrupt, but each life offers new opportunities and responsibilities.
When your time ends, trace your descendants through the family tree. See how your actions shaped the world. Did your contributions build a better future? Or did your legacy fade with time?
